HMI and tungsten heads, LED panels and tubes, ballasts, distribution, stands, grip and rigging — from set up Dutch rental houses in the Amsterdam and Rotterdam production clusters, sized to a commercial, documentary or drama unit. Our team sets up delivery, set-up and de-rig and matches all distribution to the EU-standard 230V/50Hz mains used across the Netherlands.

Here is what that looks like on the ground. For pro or high-output fixtures not held in-country, gear moves freely by road from neighbouring Germany and Belgium under the EU single market, with no carnet needed for intra-EU transport. Here is the short of it. Lighting for Dutch exteriors is built around the local light and weather. The temperate maritime climate brings frequently overcast, flat skies as well as bright spells, and many shoots rely on supplementary HMI and large LED sources to lift and shape that soft natural light.
